Awakening to Mind in Matter Dale Pond 2005, 02/06 I won't go into what some have called me in my pursuit of Greater Awareness concerning these matters of Mind. But it doesn't matter what opinions others hold. This topic is not going away. In fact it is growing all over the web. It is filling book stores and lecture circuits. What is happening is people have so much invested in their current illusions concerning religions, science, medicine, etc. and resist all new knowledge. Actually this is not new knowledge - it is just new to them. I've begun reading Quimby's three volume "The Complete Writings" and am fascinated this man knew what he knew when he knew it - 1840-1860. From his perspective and our time perspective we could say the only reason there are sick people today is because someone wants it that way perhaps because they are getting some kind of pay-back from the situation. When in actuality there is no reason there should be a sick person anywhere on this planet right now. Whether that sickness is mental (wrong thoughts), spiritual (wrong beliefs), emotional (improper understanding) or physical (improper thinking). It all boils down to wrong thinking; garbage in garbage experienced. |
