The above relationships are derived by computing Pythagorean frequencies and intervals beginning in the audio range of sound. Although there are many shades of say Green ranging from above B to below D there is really only one C at 512 cps in the lower audio octave. These colors pertain to pigments and not to hues of light which would be C=Red, D=Orange, E=Yellow, F=Green, G=Blue, A=Indigo and B=Violet.
