I'm sure there are many devices in many museums similarly labeled. The same "authorities" pronounced Keely, Tesla and Russell all as quacks. Even Isaac Azimov, who should know better, labeled Tesla as a fraud. So perhaps we should be asking the system what is a quack? What is quackery? Who says someone is a quack or something is quackery? Should it be the American medical industry which, by its own published admission, is the third (some say first) leading cause of death in America? Or the FDA that supports same? Or the District Attorneys, Sheriffs and our own employees in the various state capitals that sit around and allow this to happen? Actually none of these people sit around allowing it to happen - they are encouraging it to happen! And discouraging anything other that may be of benefit. Or would it be orthodox science who spends (wastes) $50+ billion trying to develop hot fusion? Which is nothing other than trying to push water back up a waterfall to develop energy from the effort? Are the protesters against "bogus science" or "junk science" or "pseudo-science" the ones who really know and can say what "quack science" is or is not? Makes one wonder what pot is calling the kettle black.... and why. |
