"The relative contribution of each type for each particular case depends, in the main, on two properties of the interacting molecules - their polarity and deformability. The higher the polarity, the more important the role of the orientation forces; the greater the deformability, the more important the role of the dispersion forces. Induction forces depend on both factors, but they usually play only a secondary part."
