Do you know the fable about the Rattlesnake and the alligator?
The Rattlesnake wanted to cross the swamp. He asked the alligator for a ride.
The alligator said "No man, if I let you on my back you'll bite me and I'll die".
Rattlesnake said "No dude, I'd not do that. If I killed you then I'd die too".
They went back and forth a little and then the alligator agreed. The Rattlesnake slithered on the back of the alligator and they headed out.
About half way over, the Rattlesnake bit the alligator. The alligator, knowing he was dying, looked back and asked "Why'd you do that? Now we're both going to die."
Rattlesnake said "I couldn't help it. I'm a snake. That's what we do."
Do you know why lawyers never get bit by Rattlesnakes?
